How Often Does Gary Vee Really Post to Social Media Platforms?

Author Joel Sanders

If you want to be successful, copy what other successful people are doing. That’s what I’m doing with today’s post: some deep research on how the best of the best – Gary Vaynerchuk and his agency VaynerMedia.

In a 2023 LinkedIn post, Gary suggested posting up to 20 times per day. Does that mean 20 times per platform? 20 times total? He didn’t specify, but it made me curious to know more: not just about the volume, but also the content mix.

Here’s the scoop as I see it on Monday, October 13th, 2025.

LinkedIn

  • Gary Vee: 15 posts over the last 3 days
  • VaynerMedia: 13 posts over the last 3 days

Every few hours, something new from Gary Vee and VaynerMedia are popping up on LinkedIn. It’s Monday morning, and I see 3 posts from Gary alone since 7PM or so Sunday evening. Gary obviously knows that the business world goes to LinkedIn on weekends. Some of the most successful people—those who are great to do business with!—probably go to LI on Sunday evenings, as they look forward to the start of a productive week.

The general cadence appears to be 3 to 5 posts each for Gary Vee and VaynerMedia (6 to 10 total), every day, 7 days per week. Last week, VaynerMedia was posting 8 or 9 times per day, though they were posting from New York Advertising Week, so perhaps that was an increased clip over the usual.

Though the interest graph algorithm isn’t as optimized on LinkedIn…compared to TikTok, organic reach remains high. —Gary Vee, Day Trading Attention

TikTok

  • Gary Vee: 13 posts in 3 days
  • VaynerMedia: 1 post every few days

Gary Vee’s TikTok account is posting at roughly the same clip as his LinkedIn, but VaynerMedia’s TikTok only posted 5 times in the past week. Although Gary suggests curating content specifically for each platform, the content posted to TikTok looks strikingly similar to his LinkedIn posts.

In his book 2024 book Day Trading Attention, Gary suggests that TikTok is the standard bearer when it comes to social media platforms, with the most-advanced algorithm based around interests (not followers). A 2025 study by the Washington Post confirms TikTok’s insanely addictive algorithm, shown to “hook” users in as little as 32 minutes.

Gary prominently displays his phone number on his TikTok profile, and encourages his followers to do the same. TikTok’s appeal is it’s raw authenticity, and if someone of Gary’s fame can display his phone number, why not any large brand?

Instagram

  • Gary Vee: 7 posts in 3 days
  • VaynerMedia: 9 posts in 3 days

On Instagram I see much lower volumes for both Gary Vee’s and VaynerMedia’s accounts, with typically 2 and a maximum of 3 posts per day. This seems to align with the general wisdom of posting less often to IG to avoid getting penalized, though I couldn’t find any specific recommendations from Gary regarding volumes on the platform.

Facebook

  • Gary Vee: 6 to 7 posts per day
  • VaynerMedia: 3 to 5 posts per day

“Facebook might be one of the most underestimated and underutilized platforms,” Gary wrote in Day Trading Attention. Maybe it’s the shiny new toy syndrome: we’re always looking for the next big thing, when a behemoth opportunity is staring us in the face.

One thing I noticed about Gary’s Facebook posts versus other platforms is encouraging comments. Reading the tea leaves, that probably means the algorithm rewards posts with lots of comments compared to other platforms, although I didn’t see the same comment encouragement on VaynerMedia’s Facebook posts.

X

  • Gary  Vee: 6 to 7 posts per day
  • VaynerMedia: 3 to 5 posts per day

My guess is that Gary’s not an Elon Musk fan, as he refuses to call X by it’s new name and only refers to it as Twitter. I guess I can understand, as Gary was an early investor in Twitter and helped make the platform famous with his 2009 book Crush It! So perhaps it’s a nostalgic refusal.

Needless to say, X remains a platform in which Gary engages daily: in addition to the volume of posts, from what I can tell, @garyvee comments on 6 to 10 posts per day, tho I don’t see his staff @vaynermedia engaging nearly as much as he himself does.

YouTube

  • Gary Vee: 1 long video every 2 to 3 days, 1 or 2 daily shorts
  • VaynerMedia: No recent long videos, 1 short per day

I admit that Gary’s lack of a YouTube presence (if you can call it that) surprised me.  Both Gary Vee and VaynerMedia are posting, but at much lower volumes overall. YouTube is ranked #1 in US Connected TV Reach for two consecutive years, so the fact that he’s less prolific on the platform seems like a big opportunity.

SnapChat

  • Gary Vee: 19 posts in the last 24 hours
  • VaynerMedia: No presence

I didn’t even have a Snapchat account before writing this blog, so I had to sign up for one to do my sleuthing. I was surprised to learn that SnapChat is where Gary‘s posting there nearly every hour of the day.Perhaps VaynerMedia ignores this platform altogether, as the demographic is typically just 13 to 17 years old, while Gary’s VeeFriends products target users in that demographic.

How Many Daily Posts Total Between Gary Vee and Vayner Media?

Nearly 70 times per day, every day! Here’s my final tabulation:
